This popular restaurant has a special occasion feel about it and the champagne coctails certainly go down well. It always has a vegetarian option and some examples are mixed Indian spiced vegetable fritters with yoghurt dip, cashew nut & vegetable korma served with basmati rice, goat’s cheese risotto, cauliflower tagine with a rice pilaf, vegetable korma, or a strudel with chickpeas, apricots and pilau rice. Meat and fish eaters are well catered for. Front of house staff are universally praised and booking is recommended.

A popular 3 course for 15 euros menu. Always comforting to be able to see the kitchen working away while you are dining and this kitchen is certainly on view. Again, a restaurant offering meat, fish as well as vegetarian choices. Amongst those vegetarian dishes that have been served here are roulade of aubergine, celery, onions, breadcrumbs and parsley with a cumin velouté and a Murcian casserole of cannellini beans, chickpeas, pear, pumpkin, tomatoes and saffron, both served with perfectly cooked fresh vegetables. There is a great selection of wines and many are available by the glass.

Smart or Casual - all Diners are villa dwellers |
This is set in a Garden with the Villa being
the Bar and Kitchen. It looks great. Some people love this place. The
food is good. Sometimes the service is good. Mushroom Lasgana, Pizzas however you want, and quite a flexible attitude from the Maitre D' should see you alright.
And the
setting is lovely - tho wear insect repellent - you have been warned!
Directions: Either: drive past the tennis club towards the Mercadona, past
Barclays, turn right, follow the road for 2 km and you're there - or head
out of town as if going to the airport. |
